Charitable Projects
Making a difference beyond education.
Decca Group is committed to giving back to communities in the UK and Sri Lanka — through nourishment, mindfulness, housing, learning resources and celebration of every child’s potential.
At Decca Group, we believe that true success is measured not only by business growth, but also by the positive impact we create in communities. As part of our ongoing charitable activities, we carried out a meaningful school meal project for children in rural Sri Lankan schools.
For many children in remote villages, a nutritious meal at school is more than just food — it is a source of energy, encouragement, and hope. Our team joined hands with local volunteers and community members to provide freshly prepared meals to schoolchildren, helping support both their education and wellbeing.
Volunteers lovingly prepared and served rice, vegetables, and nutritious side dishes, ensuring every child received a warm and healthy meal. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, gratitude, and a strong sense of community spirit.
This project was not simply about feeding children for a day. It was about showing care, compassion, and solidarity with families in rural areas who face daily economic challenges. Proper nutrition plays a vital role in a child’s ability to learn, grow, and succeed in school.
At Decca Group, corporate social responsibility remains close to our heart. We are committed to continuing charitable programs that uplift communities, support education, and improve the lives of those in need.
At Decca Group, we strongly believe that building a better future begins with nurturing young minds. In addition to our community welfare and school meal initiatives, we are proud to support mindfulness programmes across various parts of Sri Lanka aimed at promoting mental wellbeing, emotional balance, and personal development among children and young people.
In today’s fast-paced world, many young individuals face increasing stress, anxiety, and social pressures. Recognising the importance of mental wellness from an early age, our mindfulness initiatives were created to help children develop focus, self-awareness, discipline, kindness, and inner confidence.
These programmes are conducted in schools and community centres in rural and underserved areas, where access to emotional and mental health support is often limited. Through guided mindfulness sessions, breathing exercises, meditation practices, positive thinking activities, and interactive discussions, participants are encouraged to better understand themselves and build healthy habits for life.
Our volunteers and facilitators work passionately to inspire students to cultivate calmness, respect, compassion, and resilience — qualities that are essential for becoming responsible future leaders.
At Decca Group, we believe that every family deserves a safe and secure place to live. A home is more than just shelter — it is the foundation for stability, dignity, hope, and a better future. Guided by this belief, we are proud to support underprivileged families in rural Sri Lanka through our housing assistance initiative.
Decca Group has successfully built three houses for disadvantaged families who were living in difficult and unsafe conditions. These homes were constructed in rural communities where many families struggle with poverty, limited resources, and inadequate housing. Having a proper home provides security for children, protection from harsh weather, improved health conditions, and peace of mind for parents.
Although we have completed three homes so far, we see this as only the beginning of a larger mission to support more deserving families in the future.

At Decca Group, we believe that every child deserves access to education and the opportunity to learn with confidence and dignity. Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, and even small acts of support can make a meaningful difference in a child’s future.
As part of our ongoing charitable initiatives in Sri Lanka, we proudly organised a school donation programme to provide school bags, books, and essential learning materials to children from underprivileged families in rural communities.
For many families facing financial hardship, purchasing school supplies can be a major challenge. Some children attend school without proper bags, notebooks, or educational materials, which can affect both their learning experience and self-confidence.
Through this initiative, children received school bags, exercise books, stationery items, and other essential educational supplies. The joy and excitement seen on the faces of the students reminded us how impactful simple acts of kindness can be.
At Decca Group, we believe that every child deserves care, happiness, and the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive environment. In recognition of World Children’s Day, we proudly organised a charitable initiative in Sri Lanka by providing meals for children participating in a special community programme.
World Children’s Day is a time to celebrate the importance of children in our society and to remind ourselves of our responsibility to protect, support, and nurture the next generation. Decca Group contributed towards creating a joyful and memorable experience for children by ensuring that nutritious meals were provided during the event.
The programme brought together children, families, volunteers, and community members in an atmosphere filled with happiness, unity, and celebration. Our team worked closely with organisers and volunteers to prepare and distribute meals with care and compassion. Seeing the smiles and excitement of the children reminded us of the importance of giving back.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and generosity to make this World Children’s Day initiative successful.
At Decca Group, we believe that every child deserves access to a safe and supportive learning environment. Education is one of the strongest foundations for building a brighter future, and having proper classroom facilities plays a vital role in helping children learn, grow, and succeed.
As part of our continued commitment to community development and educational support in Sri Lanka, we proudly contributed to the construction of a classroom for primary school children in a rural community where educational facilities were limited.
For many years, the school faced challenges due to inadequate classroom space and poor infrastructure, which affected the learning experience of young students. Recognising the importance of this requirement, Decca Group stepped forward to support the project and help make this vision a reality.
Through our contribution and collaboration with the local community, the new classroom was successfully built to create a safer, more organised, and inspiring learning environment for primary school students.
This initiative represents more than just the construction of a building. It represents opportunity, hope, and investment in the future of young children who deserve the chance to receive quality education regardless of their background or circumstances.
